Jennifer Cerecerez
Speech Language Pathologist
Ms. Jennifer Cerecerez has brought compassion, expertise, and a deeply personal connection to her role as the school’s Speech Pathologist. Born and raised in Mt. Baldy, she has a lifelong bond with the community—and even received speech therapy services at Mt. Baldy School during her own elementary years. Her journey has come full circle, allowing her to now support students in the same place that once supported her.
Ms. Cerecerez is passionate about helping students develop strong communication skills that build confidence and support success both in and out of the classroom. She values the unique culture of Mt. Baldy—close-knit, supportive, hardworking, and full of personality—and feels incredibly fortunate to serve the students and families who make this community so special.
Professionally, Ms. Cerecerez is a licensed speech-language pathologist in California, providing services focused on improving communication skills for children and individuals with a variety of speech and language needs. Her work includes assessing, diagnosing, and supporting students with communication challenges in a way that is individualized, encouraging, and collaborative.
To become a speech-language pathologist in California, Ms. Cerecerez completed extensive academic and clinical training, including earning a bachelor’s degree followed by a master’s degree in speech-language pathology. Her preparation included hundreds of hours of supervised clinical experience working directly with students across a range of communication needs. She has met state licensure requirements and continues to engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in speech and language therapy.
Outside of her work, Ms. Cerecerez enjoys spending time in the mountain community she loves, embracing the atmosphere, people, and natural beauty that make Mt. Baldy such a meaningful place in her life.
