Toney Donnell
4th and 5th Grade
Since returning to Mt. Baldy School, Mr. Toney Donnell “Mr. D” has brought energy, dedication, and a strong passion for both education and athletics to his 4th and 5th grade classroom. He is committed to helping students grow academically while also encouraging teamwork, discipline, and confidence through outdoor experiences.
Mr. Donnell holds a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and believes in creating a structured, engaging learning environment where all students are supported and challenged to reach their full potential. He values hands-on learning and enjoys incorporating outdoor activities that connect students to their environment while promoting active, healthy lifestyles.
In addition to his work in the classroom, Mr. Donnell is actively involved in coaching local basketball teams and enjoys mentoring students on and off the court. He also appreciates the unique setting of Mt. Baldy and takes every opportunity to bring learning outside, encouraging students to explore, stay active, and build confidence beyond the classroom.
Outside of school, Mr. Donnell enjoys spending time outdoors, going to the gym, watching movies, and reading. He is a big sports fan who enjoys basketball, soccer, and watching Los Angeles Chargers football.
Mr. Donnell is excited to be back at Mt. Baldy School and looks forward to making a positive impact on his students and the school community.
